New for 2006, the Cyberstar C280FL Driver for ladies features a 290cc SUS630 head, with a 455 Maraging steel face for greater power and accuracy, plus a tungsten insert incorporated in the sole. A Tungsten insert helps square the face at impact and lower the centre of gravity for a higher trajectory. The MII sole shape and shallow face design further assist in getting the ball airborne quicker from a variety of lies.

By utilising improved graphite shaft construction techniques, Yonex engineers have developed the new Centrifugal Force System (CFS). These improved techniques have allowed the walls of the graphite shaft to be constructed to thinner dimensions, allowing vital weight to be pushed down into the head, meaning longer, straighter drives.
