Taylor Made's MWT (Movable Weight Technology) has been combined with a traditionally shaped Steel head to make the r7 Steel fairway wood extremely

The r7 Steel fairway is constructed from high strength Steel. This has saved weight and allowed the Taylor Made designers to use the MWT (Movable Weight Technology). Not only does this provide extra distance and accuracy but each individual golfer can configure the weights for a fade or draw bias.
1 x 2-gram and 1 x 14 gram weight cartridges come fitted to the r7 Steel fairway as standard. This gives the player a possible shot-shape movement of 15 yards to best suit their own swing characteristics.
A permanently positioned swing weight plug is inserted in the back of the head. This moves weight from the front of the clubhead to the back to enhance the position of the centre of gravity.
Fitted with a state of the art RE*AX graphite shaft. This revolutionary lightweight 70 gram shaft reduces ovaling and promotes stability, consistency and gives more distance.
